Welcome the site of the GB All Stars
The Great Britain All Stars idea was put together in September 2007. The concept is for former players to get together and play exhibition games around the world to help raise money for Life for a Kid Foundation and amateur teams, whilst giving former players the chance to stay involved in Rugby League, keep fit and meet up with old friends.

The first fixture for the All Stars was played as a Curtain Raiser for the Paul Sculthorpe Testimonial game on Saturday 2nd February 2008 at The GPW Recruitment Stadium. On this occasion the teams were split into Yorkshire All Stars Vs Lancashire All Stars. The game was a big success with stars such as Tommy Martyn, Steve Prescott, Gary Connolly, Paul Newlove and Lee Jackson showing they hadn't lost their skills. The GB All Stars played further games in 2008 resulting in victories over FC Irregulars, Leigh Leythers and Thornhill Trojans.

The Great Britain Rugby League All Stars started off their 2009 campaign by taking on the St.Helens team of 1996 in a curtain raiser to the Paul Wellens Testimonial game. The All stars lost star players Gary Connolly, Paul Newlove, and Tommy Martyn to the saint's team and unfortunately also lost their unbeaten record.

Wakefield Trinity All Stars then challenged the GB All Stars to a game to raise money for the Johnny Thompson Testimonial and the GB boys got back to their winning ways with a hard fought victory at Belle Vue.

A three match test series against the New Zealand Master team was to follow, with games in Bradford, Cumbria and Leigh. The GB All Stars beat the Kiwi's 3-0 in the series.

Then The All Stars rounded of 2009 with a Victory over the Chiefs of Leon Select at Craven Park, Hull.

In 2010 The All Stars organised a very successful beach Rugby Tournament at Bridlington, played by 11 teams from around the UK involving Male and Female players.

Then started a un beaten 2010 campaign by beating Batley All Stars at Mount pleasant to lift the Kerr Interiors Trophy and Then beating the Lauren Bragg All Stars down in Surrey, also beating Thornhill Trojans, West Park RUFC and the GB Fire Brigade team to remain Un beaten.

The 2010 season was rounded off with 2 Very Tough hard thought victories against Barrow Island and Woolston Masters.

2011 saw the team help 6 different children and raised over £8,000 for these children to change their quality of life, games were played at Hull, Rochdale, Dewsbury, Featherstone, Eastmoor Dragons and Widnes.

2012 see's the Team celebrating the 5th Anniversary and Re Branding the team to be called the "Rugby League All Stars" with the additions of players such as PNG legend Stanley Gene, the team felt it better to re name the team.
